Commercial Apprentice (EFZ)

Administration, information and organisation – these are the areas of responsibility that set the role of Commercial Clerk apart and make it a key role in our company.

You can acquire the skills and knowledge required for this role during your varied apprenticeship in our company. With us, you will gain an extensive insight into six different areas of a modern and innovative production company, thereby ensuring your entry into this varied professional field.

HR office: In our HR department, you will learn about a wide range of administrative processes. Among others, these include processing new staff entries and staff exits, managing the staff files, and organizing staff gifts. You will also help with the recruitment process, reply to applications and manage the staff files.

Secretarial office/reception: At reception, you will connect with customers using various forms of communication. You will welcome visitors, staff the telephone switchboard and manage general email correspondence. In addition, you will support the DT Swiss team by processing their mail, arranging hotel bookings for our guests, organizing office materials and helping to plan and hold general company events.

Inside sales: Whether it is logging data, customer care, order picking or invoicing – you will help out with everything surrounding customer order transactions. You will also support our team with additional everyday business matters. For example, you will help with processing returns and creating export documents.

Sales support: In sales support, you will broaden your knowledge of customer service. You will be present for all customer visits, help with complaints, support our field sales team and learn about our international sales support.

Purchasing: In the purchasing department, you will learn all about the SAP ERP system. Here, you will get to work on varied projects and support our purchasing team with maintaining the master data and supplier portfolios. You will also assist with the acquisition of tools and resources to ensure our production is running on full blast. In addition, you will manage and check order confirmations and delivery dates with our employees.

Accounts: In accounts, everything comes down to numbers. Here, you will learn how to assign and enter invoices and incoming payments, create turnover statistics and send reminders for overdue payments.

Service centre: In the service centre you will learn about our products in a practical setting. You will process incoming mail and log the incoming service and warranty agreements. You will prepare packages for delivery after repair work, and create the relevant invoices. You will also be responsible for creating and sending cost estimates and answering order-related customer queries.

 

YOUR PROFILE

You have completed your secondary school education with distinction. You enjoy interacting with people and you are an outgoing and friendly person who is comfortable approaching people. You are already confident with Word, Excel or PowerPoint and enjoy working at a computer. You are both enthusiastic as well as curious, and the idea of working in various departments in our company and using your foreign language skills appeals to you. If you have lots of motivation, enthusiasm, independence and organisational skills on top of all of this, then you are the perfect fit.
