The latest generation of ARC 1100 DICUT wheels – available in disc brake
version in three different rim heights 80 mm, 62 mm and 50 mm – was
developed in cooperation with SWISS SIDE, leading expert in aerodynamic
optimization. Consequently, the new AERO+ rim profile minimizes both
aero drag and steering moment to improve its aerodynamic and controlling
in even strong cross wind. Thus, it makes it easier for the rider to
keep the aero wheel under control while taking advantage of the
forward-pushing sailing effect. The wheel setup is completed by the new
DT Swiss aero spokes in combination with the sleek 180 DICUT hub
including ultra-light running SINC ceramic bearings.
ARC 1100 DICUT 80: The sophisticated wheelset in the quest for
best times on flat to slightly undulating courses.
ARC 1100 DICUT 62: The all-round aero wheelset with excellent
performance for various riding fields.
ARC 1100 DICUT 50: The most agile and fast accelerating wheelset
for hilly or flat courses with sharp turns.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

At temperatures of 200 degrees, carbon will start to wave and lose its stability.
The exhaust gases from a car can be up to 500 degrees Celsius. When transporting your carbon wheel with a rear carrier, make sure that there is sufficient distance to avoid such defects!
Contact the manufacturer of your rear carrier for a protective device.
If you discover this deformation on your wheel, contact our Service Centre.

With the ARC 1100 DICUT 62 wheelset, DT Swiss set themselves an ambitious goal: to push aerodynamic wheels to the next level. […] Things get interesting on the road: the ARC 1100 DICUT 62 wheels shine with incredible acceleration that sets a new benchmark for aero wheels […] The ARC 1100 DICUT 62 wheels show their crowning glory in side winds. Despite the 62 mm depth, the wheels remain unperturbed, allowing the rider to stay in their rhythm and concentrate completely on the ride. The jury was unanimous: next level achieved!

«DT Swiss wheels have changed my ride experience. I feel more freedom and speed of movement with the wheels underneath me than I ever have before. The wheels accelerate and allow me to surge at will. The stiffness is unmatched. Finally, the sound of the 180 hub makes me excited to get enough speed to freewheel!»

«A perfect wheelset for an Ironman, especially for the Ironman in Kona, must be both fast and stable. Stability is just as important: if you can't handle the crosswind, you won't be fast.»
Anne Haug
«An ideal wheelset for an Ironman must be aerodynamic and fast. Since the wheel is more controllable and stable in crosswinds, I can now ride a higher rim height, which I used to struggle with.»

«...Based on the results of our time in the wind tunnel, if you are looking to buy a new set of mid-section wheels and aerodynamics matters most, then you should be looking at these.»
by Philipp Schwab
«The new DT Swiss wheels are a lot of fun and revealed no weaknesses during the course of our test. Whether accelerating out of a corner or from a standstill, in an aerodynamic position on flat terrain or with crosswinds, the new ARC 1100 wheels excel in every situation and should help you set new record times!»

«The ARC 1100 DBs are at the expensive end of the market, but if you want speed and a weight low enough you can use them on all terrains, they're hard to ignore. The overall build quality is top notch too.»
What do you think of the setup of @unoxteam for their first #grandtour participation in 🇫🇷?
The team will be riding the ARC 1100 DICUT wheels in different rim heights depending on the stage profile.

The @sturdycycles Eimear makes no tradeoff. It offers both excellent aerodynamic performance and accommodating custom geometry. Enhancing its aerodynamic properties are our #aero ARC 1100 DICUT 80 mm and DISC wheels.
Each frame from Sturdy Cycles, as well as various components such as the lock ring and crank, are individually 3D printed in titanium, requiring extensive development over many years.

During the past months we have been to the wind tunnel with some of our triathletes.
On top of the aero optimization of our ARC 1100 DICUT wheels, we are able to work on the optimization of the whole system.
Through a series of tests we are seeking for the smallest CdA values, adjusting the riders positions, cockpit setup, and much more.
We are looking forward to see them perform at the @thecollinscuptri this weekend.

Catch me if you can... @tri.anne.haug is the #ironman World Championship defending champion.
We took the chance to ask her few questions in her final days of preparation:
For training she uses the P 1800 SPLINE. She describes them as "reliable, durable, stiff and just made for the daily training". On her choice for competition she says the following: "I choose my setup of ARC 1100 DICUT depending on the demands of the race course and weather conditions". Which means for St. George, "I will use the ARC 1100 DICUT 50 mm in front. It's the lightest and is easy to control. In the back I will decide on the day depending on wind conditions if I pick the disc wheel or the 80 mm. But if it's safe enough to ride a disc, I will choose it because of aerodynamic aspects."
After the intense training blocks, we wanted to know her program for the days leading up to race day. "The last week is all about getting ready for the race. Recover from the hard training and prepare mentally for the race."
To finish we wanted to know her goal for the race. Her answer: "I want to show my best performance possible."
Are you as excited as we are to see the performances tomorrow? Stay tuned.

@samgolong aka The Big Unit... After a promising 2nd place at the #ironmantri 70.3 World Championship in St. George last year, he is back in Utah for his first full distance World Championship.
Our setup of ARC 1100 DICUT 80 & DISC wheels, specially checked by the DT Swiss team at the Ironman village, will be supporting his @trekbikes Speed Concept on the bike course.
In his words, "DT Swiss wheels have changed my ride experience. I feel more freedom and speed of movement with the wheels underneath me than I ever have before. The wheels accelerate and allow me to surge at will. The stiffness is unmatched. Finally, the sound of the 180 hub makes me excited to get enough speed to freewheel!"
We are excited to see him perform on Saturday and hope he will make the sound of the 180 hubs resonate in the red hills of St. George.
