@kilianbron & @vicbrok did both in Cerro Grande, in the Nazca region of Peru. Check out the latest video “DUNE” with our link in bio.

The Commencal META TR 29 of @yannis_pele equipped with a pair of carbon EXC 1501 SPLINE ONE Enduro wheels.
The incredible drone tracking footage shows both the dynamic and resistant nature of these wheels - perfectly suited features for riding the tricky terrain around the Auron resort in the Mercantour mountains.
Are you a wheelie or nose wheelie rider? Yannis seems quite comfortable with both!

Reliable components are not enough to create a reliable wheel - the final step is decisive. The way a wheel is built is what turns quality components into a quality wheel.
Like all wheels developed by DT Swiss, the 1501 SPLINE® ONE and the 1700 SPLINE® are assembled by hand. With the highest precision and the smallest possible tolerance, which until now would never be reached by a conventional wheel building machine, hundreds of wheels are assembled every week in Switzerland, Poland, Asia, and in America – by hand. #whatyouwouldbuild#engineeringperformance
Due to popular demand from Enduro riders, EXC 1501 SPLINE® ONE wheels are offered with a Center Lock disc interface and now also an additional 6-bolt option – letting the rider choose the perfect system for their needs. #1501carbonized#engineeringperformance
1501 CARBONIZED.
The third and latest generation of the 1501 SPLINE ONE carries on the idea of requirement specific wheels and even rises to the next level. Using carbon allowed us to save weight and to further improve the riding behavior for the specific field of application.

Product support

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.
