SPLINE is ready to conquer them all. The aero-optimized rim supports
your high speeds on descents and on the hunt for your competitors, no
matter where the wind blows. The rim profile is tubeless ready, allowing
you to take advantage of the technology and simply and conveniently
change the tires according to the prevailing conditions of the track.
This will ensure you always find the sweet spot between traction and
rolling resistance.
CRC 1400 SPLINE 35: Fast and light, the agility of this wheelset

The rim profile allows for the usage of tubeless technology and enables a convenient tire exchange to get the best tire performance. This lets you ride with lower pressures that provide better grip, ideal for cross terrain.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, maneuverability and weight of the wheel. Basically, the higher the rim, the greater the aerodynamic advantage. The lower the rim, the more agile and maneuverable the handling.
