This is our first episode introducing the bikes of our @dtswiss Factory Squad.
Today's bike is our MTB marketing manager Flo’s @forbiddenbikecompany Druid – his 'do it all' bike. Flo rides his bike almost daily, so durable and low weight components were very important. The bike stands out of the crowd with many exotic parts, the frame being one of them. Since its rear suspension layout is new to bikes in its category, Flo wanted to try it out to make his own opinion about it – and as he says, his expectations were exceeded.

Mon Chasseral Evolution Part 4:
The PRC 1100 DICUT 35 Mon Chasseral was part of the road revolution campaign in 2018. The wheelset with a racing orientated low profile carbon rim and super light spokes weighed 1406 grams and was available as rim brake version.
Mon Chasseral Evolution Part 3:
The RC 38 SPLINE C Mon Chasseral with its 38 mm clincher rim extended the existing Mon Chasseral line-up in 2016. Same as the RC 28 SPLINE C model, the new wheel had a rim inner width of 15 mm and was built with the tubeless ready technology.
Mon Chasseral Evolution Part 2:
In 2015, the RC 28 SPLINE C Mon Chasseral became our first road cycling wheelset that consisted of carbon in rims and hubs. Flat, aerodynamic spokes and a modern 2:1 spoke pattern (rear wheel only) achieved a higher stiffness than the previous model.
Mon Chasseral Evolution Part 1:
The RR 1450 Mon Chasseral was the first wheel with an additional designation named after the highest peak of the mountain range of our region called Jura.
The reliable and light wheelset, launched in 2007, featured a white varnished aluminum rim, a CLASSIC hub and round DT Revolution spokes. At this point, the wheelset weighed 1501 grams.
The new 240 hub - not only the freewheel mechanism has been changed, the shape of the hub has also been adapted. In the picture you can see a detailed view of the newly shaped disc mounting interface. Learn more about the new hub - check out the link in the story or bio.
How can a larger rim width add safety to your gravel riding?
