Area of Activity
I did my traineeship in Sales. In the framework of my introduction, I was able to get to know all the relevant departments in one stage. The content of the traineeship included insights into the sales field service by accompanying the sales representatives to customer meetings, administrative tasks & support of the sales representatives, independent project work such as e.g. producing a customer visit report. Furthermore, I took over the organisation & planning of our annual Sales Representative Meeting.
How did you become aware of the traineeship at DT Swiss?
As an active racing cyclist, I had already been familiar with DT Swiss as a brand for a long time, so after completing my studies I applied for a traineeship on my own initiative.
What makes DT Swiss different from other employers?
For me, as a sportsperson who is enthusiastic about racing cycles, DT Swiss is the perfect employer for fully achieving my work-bike balance. The combination of the dynamism of the industry, the challenging tasks, and the good working atmosphere makes DT Swiss my “place to be”.
Your personal highlight during your traineeship?
I was especially happy to be able to present the result of my project (a visit report for our sales representatives) at the sales meeting to all the sales representatives of the global sales organisation.
What is next for you after your traineeship?
After the traineeship in sales, I completed a 6-month trainee programme in marketing, which led to my current permanent employment. My area of responsibility includes press relations and sports marketing in our racing cycle segment.
