Vogel took his second career world cup win while fellow Swisswoman Nathalie Schneitter was a first timer on the top step of the podium. On the technically and physically tough course the two swiss riders managed their energies better than the competition and won on home soil.
For the female Colnago Cap Arreghini team it even got to be a double win with Eva Lechner in second place.
