XMM 100 29

The 29er fork of our team riders. Available with Single Shot or Twin Shot damping system. The Twin Shot version is the highest level damping system DT Swiss offers. The damping system offers fully open, locked out, and even a climbing mode where the fork is reduced 30% in travel for rough mountain climbs. The forks are available with 1 1/8 or tapered steer tubes, 9 mm or 15 mm dropouts and options for carbon or aluminum crown and steer tubes. These forks are perfect for XC racing or trail riding.

Functions

Auto Balancing Spring – a high performance air spring system. Both the positive and negative air chamber are set up to the rider weight via a single valve.
Crown and steerer are a unit of high modulus UD carbon. The internal rib reinforcements make it safe and stiff.
Being a high-tech composite material consisting of fibres and resin, carbon can be used to resist the exact forces it is subjected to. This enables engineers to design parts with an unmatched strength to weight ratio.
The Remote control allows the manipulation of the suspension from the handlebar.
Two ride settings: Open mode and lockout. Low weight and high performance are perfectly combined. Adjustable rebound.
A thru axle connection is not compatible with the quick release standard. Thru axles are always an integrated part of the frame or fork. The diameter of the axle is generally 20 or 15 mm at the front and 12 mm at the rear.
The two piece, hollow construction of the arch creates a very light and stiff magnesium lower.
